Uniform Requirements, Appearance/Dress Code
UNIFORM CHANGE - Beginning August 1, 2010 JMCA have a new "crest" added to the uniform. New students will be required to have the crest for the green sweater. The crest is optional on the green polo shirts. JMCA has authorized the crest on additional clothing items. Call JMCA for a complete listing of authorized items.

Research shows that a school uniform policy has a positive effect on
school discipline and student performance. At JMCA, uniforms are a daily
requirement and a condition of continued enrollment.
Dennis Uniforms carries all uniform items and is the exclusive vendor of JMCA plaid (Plaid #90 or #245) and the JMCA logo sweater. You may also use French Toast as a source for your other uniform needs. (All catalog numbers listed are for French Toast catalog reference). Both catalogs are available in the JMCA office, or shop on-line at www.dennisuniform.com or www.frenchtoast.com. Be sure to use school codes "CJMC" or "QS47EU5” respectively.

Minimum Dress Requirements
Wednesdays are full dress days.
On all other days, students may opt to wear either the full dress
uniform or the casual uniform. At no time may a combination of the two
uniforms be worn.
Full

Girls:
- Plaid skort or jumper (#1480-900-245, 1720-900-245,
NEW jumper #18631B-201 available only at Dennis Uniforms)
- Black or navy spandex bike shorts (required with
jumper, recommended with skort)

White shirt (long or short-sleeved) with 'Peter Pan' collar – no lace

matching plaid or colors of khaki, green, black, brown, white or clear are

Girls may have pierced ears (one hole per ear). There may be no other
piercings.

Earrings may not be longer than 1”.

Socks must be anklets or knee socks
Boys:

No piercings

Socks must be crew socks, not “no-shows”

Students

No visible tattoos are allowed – whether permanent or temporary.

Sandals, boots, heelies, and
backless shoes may NOT be worn
at JMCA.

Shirts must be fully tucked in.
o
Shoe laces must be tied.
o
No spray in or gel hair color.
o
Prefer mostly white or mostly black tennis shoes.
o
Prefer black shoes for dress uniform
o
Only white tee shirts may be worn as undershirts
o
All uniform components must be CLEAN and SERVICABLE.
No holes, missing buttons, rips or tears.
o
Students may wear watches if they do not have an alarm or make noise.
o
JMCA Spirit Wear is optional; polos, may be worn on casual days, tees on
spirit days. Hoodies may only be worn as outer wear. Sweatpants may not be
worn at school.
o
All uniform clothing items not purchased through French Toast or Dennis
Uniforms must match those company products as listed.
